Yulee, FL – June 19, 2012 – The Nassau County Clerk of Court will convert its case management system from Tiburon FACTS to FACC Clericus on Thursday, June 21, 2012. Some processes in the Clerk’s office will be affected on Thursday. They are:
Clericus is scheduled to go live in the Clerk’s office on Friday, June 22nd. Clericus was built by Florida Association of Court Clerks to meet all standards and requirements for the State of Florida. The new software will provide a number of advantages, including the capability to accept e-Filing and Citations. The cost of maintaining Clericus will be significantly lower than previous system.
The Clerk and staff greatly appreciate court customers’ patience as the conversion to the new software takes place this Thursday.
- Fine payments will be receipted manually and customers will be provided with hand-written receipts. Payment of fines on Thursday may take a little longer than usual on Thursday, for this reason.
New cases will be file stamped and hand-receipted. No case number will be assigned to the case until Friday, June 22nd.
Appeal documents will be clocked in and recorded. Money will be hand-receipted.
