|Yulee, FL – March 18, 2011 – The Nassau County Clerk’s office offers e-Recording as a service to customers to expedite the recording process.
E-Recording allows documents that have traditionally been sent to the Clerk’s Recording Department for recording by runner, express mail, or courier service to be approved for payment, recorded, indexed, verified, and returned to customers within the same day. Documents submitted outside of Clerk business hours wait in a queue and are processed during regular business hours. Since documents are submitted electronically, they can be sent to the Clerk’s Office any time of day – morning, noon, or night.
Benefits of e-recording include:
Customers enjoy time and cost savings associated with transporting documents to the Recording Department;
Customers keep original documents and scan document images to the Recording Department; and
Customers can record and track the status of documents from the convenience of their offices.
Since the Nassau Clerk’s Office began offering e-Recording in May 2009,
it has processed 553 documents for FY 2009, and 657 for FY 2010.
